Robert Campbell, (1944-1993 ), is a “koori” aborigine, who was born in Kempsey, NSW. Today, Robert's works stand at the pinnacle of the modern "urban" aboriginal art genre, and his contribution to the development of this style is sorely missed since his untimely death years ago. Although Robert was born on the north coast of NSW, Robert was to gain prominence later in life for his vivid portrayal of life for the aboriginal people when the modern Australian culture collides with the traditional lives of indigenous Australians.

He was at the forefront of a modern indigenous identity that attempted to draw a bridge between two disparate ways of life, and the positive way he pictured life was why we are so honoured to be able to reproduce these works for you.

Each Plato Puzzles Jigsaw puzzle is made from recycled cardboard and timber. Our cardboard puzzles are cut in New Zealand and assembled in Sydney Australia. Our wooden puzzles are 100% made in Australia.

Every jigsaw puzzle has quality and longevity as its central focus. We use quality non-toxic varnishes, and source only the best quality cardboard and timber for our jigsaws.
