What are booklists?
The Harleys Prepack booklist system is designed to be a service to the entire School Community.
The booklist is an order form listing all the books and stationery a student needs for that year of school.
The booklist is built to the school's specifications, and distributed by the school to each student.
The booklist is completed by the parent or student and returned to the school, or alternatively, used as a basis to order online.
To make it easy for you:
Books and stationery items (many of which may be unique to your school) are ordered from our suppliers and carried for the school year.
The booklist, which you complete and return by the due date, is processed, assembled and packed in our warehouse, and is held for you to collect at your leisure.
People from the local community are employed to pack and and distribute the packs during this period.
Any items, which are unavailable, are recorded and supplied to the student at school when they become available, at no extra cost.
The pack is ready for collection on the date shown on the collection details section on your booklist.
If the pack is ready earlier than the date stated on your list we will send you an email or sms to let you know, in case you want to collect your pack straight away. However you can still choose to collect the order at your leisure.
Customising booklists for your school
Booklists are developed co-operatively with your school and designed to your school's specifications.
Some schools also include other requirements on their list - a list things that will need to be purchased elsewhere, or a notation of a fee to be paid directly to the school office at the beginning of the term.
Can I place my order over the phone?
We are sorry, but due to the large numbers of orders we receive at this time of year we are unable to take your booklist order over the phone.
Lodge your order at the school office before the cut-off date or with Harley’s via post, fax, email, online, or in person at the store.
We require that you fill out the booklist order form, or place your order online. You can order via the easy to use BTS online store at anytime of the day or night.
Can I phone up and get prices over the phone?
We are sorry, but due to the large numbers of orders we receive at this time of year we are unable to give you a list of prices over the phone.
The booklist order forms created by Harleys have the prices listed for your convenience. You may be able to obtain prices for items that are not on booklist in our general online store.
Please Note - all prices listed are subject to change without notice in accordance with supplier price rises.
What is the online Back-to-School service all about?
Online student booklists allow you to order school books and stationery for delivery direct to your home/office or to be collected from harley's educational supplies.
I would like to order my booklist on-line
Type in harleyseducational.com.au/bts into the address bar of your browser.
Scroll down the page a little - you will find a drop down list that contains the name of the schools.
Select your school.
A new drop down list will appear - this lists all the grades available for your school.
Select the grade for your child.
Click on the order online now link that appears. This will open an order screen.
Do not click on the link that ends in .doc - this will open a copy of your booklist requirements in Microsoft Word. (You cannot order online from this).
Follow the ordering prompts - helpful information is listed on each page.
Please ensure that you check if your child already has any items listed before placing your order.
I have lost my booklist order form and I need a new copy

Security Online
Harleys takes reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, up-to-date and stored in a secure environment.
We work to protect the security of your information at all times. Payments are made on the site via Direct Payment Solutions. Only this financial institution processes your credit card details.
If I order online will it be delivered, or can I collect it?
If you place your order online, you can choose to collect from Harley's or you can choose to have your list delivered to your home or workplace.
Please Note – Courier Delivery Service Available to Prepaid Orders Only. Courier Delivery charges will be $10 for parents ordering 1 list ; $15 for parents ordering 2 lists ($7.50 per list) ; or $20 for parents ordering 3 to 4 lists ($6.66 or $5.00 per list respectively).
Please ensure that someone is available to sign for your parcel. Delivery will be available on Monday to Friday & delivery times will range between 9am & 4pm on your desired delivery day.
I have missed the cut-off date. What can I do?
Lodge your late order with Harley’s via post, fax, email, in our bts online store, or in person at the store.
Collection dates for all late orders will be subject to workload of late orders placed. We will email or sms you to let you know when your late order is ready, as we are not able to forecast a date for collection. Stock availability cannot be guaranteed for late orders.
How long before I receive my booklist web order?
Check your printed school booklist for the collection date specified in the collection details section.

"To Follow" Items
Some items may not be available at the time of packing your parcel.
If this happens, the item will be charged as part of your original order and delivered to your school, labelled with your child's name and grade when available AT NO EXTRA COST.
Teachers will be given a list of students who have paid for out of stock items, so they will be aware that you have ordered all of the requirements for your child (so that your child will not get into trouble).
I don't have a computer. How can I order my booklist?
Lodge your order with the school office before the cut off date, or with Harley’s via post, fax, email, in our bts online store, or in person at the store.
You can also come into our store to select your items yourself from our shelves.
I don't have a credit card or cheque book - how can I pay?
You can pay using a Money Order or cash.
Do I have to pay when ordering on-line?
No. There are two clearly marked payment options to choose from when placing your back to school list order. You can choose order pay for your list when placing your order online or you can choose to pay for your pack upon collection from Harleys.
Please Note – Courier Delivery Service Available to Prepaid Orders Only. If you wish to use this delivery service, you must pay when placing your order.
I no longer need some of the items I ordered on my school booklist. Could you delete them from my list?
We are sorry, but due to the large numbers of orders we receive at this time of year we are unable to do this.
All items ordered in the pre-packs are firm sale, so please choose what you require carefully, as Harley’s cannot refund items if you change your mind.
Special Cases will be subject to negotiation with Harleys Management. Please email us with your details and your problem and we will contact you. Make sure that you retain your receipt.
Any faulty items will be refunded or replaced free of charge.
Do I have to pay for my booklist when handing it in to my school?
Payment is not required in advance, however we would appreciate payment up-front for your booklist, as it is actually a firm order. You can pay for your booklist when first placing your order through your school, using cash, cheque, credit card, or money order.
Can I pay for my booklist at Harleys when I collect my list?
Booklist orders can be paid for on collection. We accept credit cards (Visa & Master Card), Eftpos, Cash and Money Orders ONLY.
Can I pay by cheque?
We do not accept cheques for goods purchased in store, or for the packs when they are being collected as they cannot be cleared through the bank in time. Cheques will ONLY be accepted when the order is first placed with your school before the cut off date.
Can I purchase the goods myself without ordering on-line or going through my school?
Yes. We keep our shelves stocked with the items in the prepacks to the best of our ability.
If I opt for the self-serve option, will there be staff available to help me?
We employ a large number of extra staff during this period for to cater for this situation.
My child's calculator is faulty. What can I do?
Faulty calculators are subject to warranty conditions. With proof of purchase they will be returned to the supplier for replacement or repair.
Can I add additional items to my booklist once I have submitted it?
It is not possible to add items to lists we have received. You can place another order for the extra items that your require online, or you can visit our store.
Returns Policy
Misbound or faulty goods will be fully refunded or replaced if returned with proof of purchase.
